          Michael Dorn, an American actor, is best known for his role as the Klingon Worf in the 'Star Trek' universe, including the TV series 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' and 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine', as well as the films 'Star Trek: First Contact', 'Star Trek: Insurrection', and 'Star Trek: Nemesis'.

          He was born on December 9, 1952, in Luling, Texas, USA, to parents Ellie Lee and Fentress Dorn Jr., and grew up in Pasadena, California. Dorn attended Pasadena City College, where he studied telecommunications and radio communication, before embarking on his music career as a singer in various rock bands, traveling between San Francisco and Los Angeles.

          Early Acting Career

          Dorn made his first appearance as a guest actor in the television show 'W.E.B.' in 1978
