A KS1 history lesson which teaches children about the life of Christopher Columbus and why he was a significant individual. Christopher Columbus was an explorer of the seas and discovered the Americas.

Columbus changed the world through this and has a divided view between historians due to his links with slavery and the natives of America.

With this resource is a travel guide for this unit of work, children complete a page a session in this.

How I use this resource: This resource is a powerpoint which is shared at the front of the class with the children. The worksheet can be completed in small groups or completed whole class.
